Printable Supply List & Instructions

Hello everyone,

Another week gone, in what seems like the blink of an eye!  Christmas will be everywhere before long.  So here is another card to help you get ready for the Christmas Season.  This brilliant red cardinal just exudes Christmas.  It is a nice thought with the hot weather we have been having here in NC.  In just over a week, Sept. 4, 2019, you will be able to  buy this beautiful stamp set called Toile Christmas.  There are dies to help you cut out the cardinal as well as sentiments and the branch.  I’ll confess I took the time to fussy cut out this cardinal just because I liked it a little better that way.  This set has beautiful paper, enamel glitter dots, etc. to accompany this stamp set!  I put some Sparkle Glimmer paper in behind the cardinal just to make it look like snow.

I hope you will enjoy making this one.  Just remember you can click on the video link above and see the step by step process.  I think I said to use Very Vanilla Card Stock when I meant Whisper White so please take note of that.  Also if you click on the printable supply list you can get the step by step instructions in a written form as well as pictures of all the products you might need.

So that’s about it for now.

I’ll be back soon!

Printable Supply List with Instructions for Rustic Retreat Christmas Card

You Tube Video

Hi everyone,

Can you believe it is time to think about making Christmas cards?  On Sept 4, 2019 you will be able to purchase out of the new catalog Creativity is Calling.  It has many beautiful projects in it and I will put up a pdf so you can get a look at the wonderful things you can make.  If you would like a copy of the catalog to hold in your hands, I will be glad to mail you one, just go to Comments and request one with your address and  I will get one in the mail to you.  I cannot post the catalog until Sept. 4, but I used one of the new stamps for my inside sentiment today.  Stampin’ UP has rules about what I can and cannot show you.  You can see projects I make from new products but not the catalog until Sept. 4, so I will be back with a project made from new products next week.

Take a look on You Tube and see all the beautiful cards that I made from this Rustic Retreat set.  I used some of the new DSP called Toile Tidings in some of the cards too.  If you like green you are in for a treat.

Happy Stamping,

Clara

Get Well Card from the Delightful Stamp Set With Printable Supply and Instruction List

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would take a couple minutes to say hello and hope you are all doing well out there in cyberspace!  This week I have been working on the Delightful Daisy set, and I must say I was able to do more with it than I first thought!  I don’t know at the times I have thought what am I going to do with this set just to have it turn out to be one of my favorite sets!  I just start working and before long I have a card.  You know in the Bible God told the priests to put their feet in the water and the Jordan River parted.  That is how it is with me!  I just say God I got nothing and He gives me something when I try!

Hope you like this get well card.  It could be made in any color.  Just take a little piece of designer series paper that you have and match your colors.  It could be a Birthday Card or a Hello Friend card.  Just make it into whatever you need.

Enjoy crafting,

Clara

Plant A Dream Card

Hello out there!

Can you believe a week has passed?  I think the older I get the faster time passes.  Our daughter who is our fourth and last child just turned 35 a few days ago!  Nothing like that to make one, face the fact that like it or not the senior years are here!  Maybe the reason I like making cards so much is because I am able to do this, without aches and pains!  Young or old I have the crafting “bug” and at last I have enough time to pursue it.

Today it has been a challenge to get the video on You Tube.  Perseverance has finally paid off! For some unknown reason my Video Converter was refusing to work properly and I thought it was my fault.  I did have a need to do one little edit and nothing seemed to work.  Finally I started over and restarted my computer which fixed the problem.  Other than I wasted half a day trying to accomplish a task that should have only taken a few minutes no harm done.

Now let’s talk a little about this card for the week.Card July 26 2019

I do love these new colors  for 2019-2021.  The Purple Posy and Pretty Peacock are only two of the five, but I think they look so nice together.  By having the Stampin’ Blends I was able to bring all the colors together!  It is so nice to have markers and ink pads that match the card stock.  That is my favorite thing about Stampin’ UP products.

Who could resist this Garden Shed Stamp set?  Check out the video to see how I used the other stamps in the set.  If you don’t know, I try to use as many stamps as possible to give you ideas as to how they can be used.

If you don’t mind please let others in your life know about my website.  Word of mouth is a great way to find other like minded people who may enjoy this craft.  And remember, anytime I can answer a question just go to contact me, and I will do my best to get back to you promptly!

Happy Card Making!
