Product List & Instructions for Accented Blooms Hello Card
Surely fall is getting closer as we are almost to Sept. 1, 2019. It didn’t seem quite as hot this morning when I went out to feed our farm dog Dorcas. Dorcas is a Great Pyrenees and she does have a hard time in the summer even though she sheds a lot of her coat. If you think Dorcas is a weird name as our grandson did, here is the story behind why we named her Dorcas. In the Bible Dorcas was a very industrious woman who made clothes for the widows and people in need. I like to sew, as well as make cards and I liked this woman who cared about others. The funny thing about this is our dog Dorcas has lived up to her name. We got her as a puppy and I guess she is 2 years old now so she is mature. When we leave the farm and come home again she will run down in the woods patrolling the borders of our farm barking all the way. She wants us to know that she is on the ball protecting what is ours. LOL It is the funniest thing, then she comes to get petted there after!
OK my website isn’t about dogs, so let’s talk a little about card making. I had one little blooper in my video this morning. I completely left off the Pretty Peacock piece measuring 1/4″ x 3 3/4″. As you can see it goes behind the kitty just above the striped DSP and should be glued in place just after the striped piece. So that is my correction for today. My typed instructions are correct as far as I know. I thought that cute little kitty was just perfect to go with this Harvest Hello Stamp set. This set makes wonderful note cards for this time of year and you can add one of the sentiments if you like.
This set will be available on Sept. 4 in the Creativity is Calling Catalog. If you don’t have a demonstrator and need a catalog just go down to the bottom of this page under comments and request one or e-mail me at sclara945@gmail.com and leave me your address and I will get you one in the mail promptly.
Hope you all have a wonder Labor Day and stay safe!
