Printable Supply List and Instructions for God’s Peace Christmas Card

You Tube Video

Hello out there in cyber land!  I hope you have had a wonderful week.  Ours has been a bit better this week.  I even got my cards made a day earlier than usual.  We are back to a Christmas card this week.   I think this card just exudes Christmas wishes.  It is bright and colorful with lots of shine.  Some of the other cards I made this week are a bit more subdued but are also very festive.  Take a look at the video and you will see what I mean.

Something, I especially liked about this God’s Peace stamp set is that you can simply stamp the image directly onto the card stock and you don’t even have to have a die cutting machine.   Some of the cards I embossed and some were just stamped.  When you choose bright colors that blend well you can still get a pretty card.  One can get a lot of Christmas cards from the stamp set without so much investment.

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Stamping,

Clara

Hi folks,

Hope you have had a good week.  Our family has had a wild and scary week, yet we are very thankful!  My nephew, (my sister and her husband’s only child) was in a horrible head on collision this week.  After a full examination he has a badly broken leg and ankle, but no head trauma.  A lady glanced away from the road for a second and totaled entered his lane.  We have all glanced away of a second and the results can be fatal. We’ve had trouble finding out how the lady is doing.  We pray that she and her unborn child will be OK.

It was purely coincidental that I made a thankful card this week.  I had already made it when I heard about the accident, but I assure you it makes us thankful for all the people we have in our life.

You will be able to access the YouTube video above if you are a visual person as I am, or you can read about how I made the card by clicking on the supply list and instructions above.  All the measurements are there.

I pray for a quiet uneventful week this week and hopefully we can all get some cards made!

Talk to you soon,

Clara

How About A Harvest Hello Fall Card!

Surely fall is getting closer as we are almost to Sept. 1, 2019.   It didn’t seem quite as hot this morning when I went out to feed our farm dog Dorcas. Dorcas is a Great Pyrenees and she does have a hard time in the summer even though she sheds a lot of her coat.  If you think Dorcas is a weird name as our grandson did, here is the story behind why we named her Dorcas.  In the Bible Dorcas was a very industrious woman who made clothes for the widows and people in need.  I like to sew, as well as make cards and I liked this woman who cared about others.  The funny thing about this is our dog Dorcas has lived up to her name.  We got her as a puppy and I guess she is 2 years old now so she is mature.  When we leave the farm and come home again she will run down in the woods patrolling the borders of our farm barking all the way.  She wants us to know that she is on the ball protecting what is ours.  LOL It is the funniest thing, then she comes to get petted there after!

OK my website isn’t about dogs, so let’s talk a little about card making.  I had one little blooper  in my video this morning.  I completely left off the Pretty Peacock piece measuring 1/4″ x 3 3/4″.  As you can see it goes behind the kitty just above the striped DSP and should be glued in place just after the striped piece.  So that is my correction for today.  My typed instructions are correct as far as I know.   I thought that cute little kitty was just perfect to go with this Harvest Hello Stamp set.  This set makes wonderful note cards for this time of year and you can add one of the sentiments if you like.

This set will be available on Sept. 4 in the Creativity is Calling Catalog.  If you don’t have a demonstrator and need a catalog just go down to the bottom of this page under comments and request one or e-mail me at sclara945@gmail.com and leave me your address and I will get you one in the mail promptly.

Hope you all have a wonder Labor Day and stay safe!
