Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog this week.   I hope your week has been good.  Mine has been busy as they usually are.  I got the results from my MRI and in the words of my doctor, he said I had a real mess in my back and I needed to see a spine specialist.  No surprise there!  So I guess I have got to decide where to go.  I hate doing that.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just tell who the good doctors are.  Since I went through nursing school in the 70’s I know not all doctors or nurses are the same!  Anyway I guess I will do my best and move forward.  In the meantime I made another set of cards.  Take a look at my YouTube thumbnail.  There is even a Christmas card tucked in there.  Hope this inspires you!  The good Lord willing I will be back again next week.  Until then, happy stamping!

Hello fellow strugglers,

It is time for me to report in and yes the turtle is back.  I am now three weeks in and I lost 1.8 pounds this week.  That is just .2 short of what I would like to lose each week so I shouldn’t complain.  As slow as it is, I have taken off 5.8 pounds in three weeks.  Every little bit helps and I knew it was going to be a long run getting to good health.  The good Lord willing and I believe that He is, as long as I honestly try, I will get there!  As one of my sons said one time, “Eye on the prize!” With God’s help I must stay focused and not get off track.   That is the big pit fall for me!

Hi everyone,
Hope you are doing well.  Quick update on my health.  I had the MRI of my back on Friday so now I wait until my doctor sees the results.  Don’t know what the treatment will be, but I will keep you posted so you will know what to expect as far as my videos go.

I decided to use the Dashing Deer stamp set and dies with some of the new paper and colors to create a new look.  I hope you like it.  I stamped the deer in the Rococo Rose color that blends really well with the Cherry Cobbler color.

Maybe there are some of you that didn’t see this set last year, so I wanted to do a set of cards as there are so many pretty things you can do with this set.

I am not going to call it the Turtle Weigh Down this week as I lost 3.2 lbs. as of yesterday morning, exactly one week since my last report.  I am happy about the weight loss, but it has been a struggle with my back going crazy!  I just kept telling myself that I was not going to let this derail me this week.  I bought some prepared meals that I can zap in the microwave if I can’t get something fixed, but so far I haven’t had to use them.  Still that is my back up plan.

Hope everyone out there is doing well and the invitation to join me is always open!

One day at a time by the grace of God maybe I can overcome this issue!
