Making Christmas Cards Using The Sponging Technique

Hello Stampers,

I hope you have had a wonderful week with family and friends!  We are so blessed to have so much!  Thanksgiving was today for our family as my husband had a breakdown with his truck and was stuck in Jackson, OH for most of the weekend.  We also had a son-in-law whom had developed a bad case of pink-eye so it just made sense for us to wait.  I assure you I have had plenty to eat today.

As for stamping this week I decided to do some sponging and masking to create a card with stamps, so this is what I came up with for our featured card.  I hope you like it.  I fell in love with the technique after I saw Bibi Cameron do a Christmas card a few years ago using this technique.  Please take a look at my video to see exactly how I made this card.  Seeing is just easier than reading about it.

With Christmas just around the corner it is time to get the cards done and the shopping too!  Oh, and then there is the baking and decorating.  Do you feel the need to hurry?  I sure do.

Maybe a few minutes to make cards is just what we need to relax!  Anyway, have a great week and I hope to be back in about a week.
